NCG Medical Systems, Inc., a privately-owned company headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Fla., began operations more than 20 years ago as a software vendor, principally marketing practice management software and CPA services. Many of NCG's early customers were physicians, prompting the switch from general-use CPA software to a more focused practice management system that would assist medical office personnel in managing the daily business of a busy doctor's office.
